I hope you check here often to see what the current topic is. I learn as I give this information to you. I use The Student's Life Application Bible (New Living Translation) so it may be different from your Bible. I find this version easier to read and understand. The topics of the day are chosen by what I feel I should discuss, the mood I'm in, or what I feel led to talk about.

February 7, 2000 - Attitude Check

1 Chronicles chapter 26, verses 16
16. But when had become powerful, he also became proud which led to is downfall. He sinned against Lord his God by entering the sanctuary of the Lord's Temple and personally burning incense on the altar
After God gave Uzziah great blessings and power he became proud and corrupt. t is true that "pride goes before destruction and haughtiness before a fall" (Proverbs 16:18). If God has given you money, influence, popularity, and power, be thankful and careful. God hates pride. Check your attitude and remember to give God the credit for what you have. Use your gifts in ways that please him.
