Welcome to the Bible study section of my home page. This may not be daily, but I will try to update it with a new study as often as I can. I hope you check here often to see what the current topic is. I learn as I give this information to you. I use The Student's Life Application Bible (New Living Translation) so it may be different from your Bible. I find this version easier to read and understand. The topics of the day are chosen by what I feel I should discuss, the mood I'm in, or what I feel led to talk about.

I'm sorry for the two month absence of new Bible studies, but now that it is summer, I have more time and I really hope to keep this updated regularly.

May 24, 2000 - Wholehearted

     Psalm chapter 86, verses 11-12
11. Teach me your ways, Oh Lord, that I may live according to your truth! Grant me purity of heart, that I may honor you.
12. With all my heart I will praise you, Oh Lord my God. I will give glory to your name forever.
     Praising God with all our heart means appreciating Him and honoring Him in all areas of life. We need to show our loyalty to him in every part of our life, not just in going to church. If we praise God with all our heart, then our work, relationships, use of money, and desires will be in keeping with his will.
     Let these scriptures be your prayer as you praise Him. Showing Him that you want to give yourself fully and completely to Him. He is worthy of more than we can offer, so give him all that you have, because He has given you so much more, it is because of him that we even LIVE.
